With over 20 years in education and more than 700 children supported, I have seen first-hand how challenging it can be when a child is struggling with confidence, learning or school.
Working across mainstream and specialist educational settings in London and the East Midlands has taught me one important lesson:
When children feel understood, supported and believed in, they are capable of far more than they often realise.

I created The SEN Tutor to provide personalised support for children, families, schools and local authorities.
My aim is simple: to help children build confidence, overcome barriers and discover their true potential.
Throughout my career, I have supported children facing a wide range of challenges.
Some struggled with learning.
Some struggled with confidence.
Some had simply started to believe they weren't capable of success.
What I discovered was that academic progress rarely starts with worksheets, tests or targets...
